Manifest Schema

The version 1.0 schema is available at src/betacalendars_printlint/schemas/calendar-manifest.schema.json and is included in the wheel. A manifest contains:

  • calendar: Gregorian year/month, week-start convention, grid mode, and optional first/last weekdays.
  • grid: row count, seven columns, and row-major cells with ISO date, day number, month offset, row, and column.
  • paper: optional preset size, orientation, and geometry in millimeters.
  • reference: optional human-readable reference metadata. It is never fetched by PrintLint.

Current month cells must be complete and unique. Fixed-six-weeks manifests contain 42 positions. A placeholder has both date and day set to null. For blank layouts use the separate blank-grid structure described in Blank Calendars.

See the January 2027 fixture and the December 2026 boundary fixture.
